At the beginning of my photography career, all I knew was to look for some emotion and photograph that.Granted, “the beginning” was at 16 years old, and for reasons still unknown, a couple trusted me with their once-in-a-lifetime photos. At the time, classic wedding-y concepts that I know now (like fluffing the dress and wrangling family portraits) were nowhere on my radar. However I felt drawn to every single hug, tear, and laugh. As it turns out, those were my first couples’ favorite photos. And the next couple.
