The Pastry Shop was born in the pandemic-era and has now graduated into a flagship bakery, with grander plans in the works.In June of 2020, when Coronavirus shuttered the city, with her best friend Venetta Smith in tow, Tiara Bennett began selling her handcrafted pastries outside of her BedStuy apartment to bring joy to her neighbors. After a hugely successful response to the small operation, she was able to bring her vision of owning her own bakery to life in June 2023.
