I’m Nicholas Gomez, a passionate baker and custom cake decorator hailing from the vibrant city of New York. From a young age, I discovered my love for the art of baking and crafting beautiful cakes. Without the means for formal culinary education, I dedicated my formative years to gaining hands-on experience and pursuing excellence. With 14 years of expertise under my apron strings, I’ve evolved into a seasoned professional, taking on roles as a baker, cake decorator, mentor, and teacher.
My journey includes a sweet victory on Food Network’s Cupcake Championship, as well as features in prestigious platforms like Brides magazine, Build Series with Monét Exchange, and Kate Spade. I’ve honed my skills in various settings, including pastry shops, catering, the iconic Magnolia Bakery, and the esteemed City Cakes.

In the midst of crafting edible masterpieces, you’ll often find me immersed in the soothing tunes of Lo-Fi or Jazz. When not engrossed in the world of cakes, I unwind by catching up on my favorite shows like Schitt’s Creek and The Handmaid’s Tale or embarking on adventures to parks, exploring diverse cultures around the globe.
