Our story starts in Palermo, Sicily in 1935 with Nicolo Raineri Sr. At the young age of 8 years old, Nicolo began studying jewelry design, manufacturing and repairs. By the time he had reached his early 20’s he became a master jewelry craftsman and opened his own jewelry manufacturing facility. In search of a better life for his family, Nicolo immigrated to the United States in the early 1960’s. After a few years of hard work, Nicolo Sr. opened Nicolo Raineri Jewelers in the heart of New York City’s “Diamond District”.

When social media became an integral part of the technological evolution of Raineri Jewelers, Roy’s eldest daughter Concetta, took on the challenge of designing custom engagement rings and curating original content for their social media pages, garnering over a 20K person following and mentions from online publications such as How He Asked, The Knot and Grace Ormonde Wedding Style.

Raineri Jewelers’ success has allowed us to give back to the community, we actively contribute through philanthropic work, supporting charitable organizations such as The Grace Foundation, Kids for Kids for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, St Mary’s Children’s Hospital, Maimonides Medical Center, On Your Mark, as well as many others.
