Hi, I’m Jennifer McKeon, owner and designer at Verbena. I started in the floral business by working in various retail shops and then as a freelance designer for several large-scale event decorators. I have a passion for flowers and creativity, and I ultimately decided to venture out on my own with a smaller, more individualized floral boutique. I established this company in 2003 with the goal of providing unique décor and truly personalized attention for each event we have the pleasure to decorate. Limiting the number of events we take on allows for better attention to detail and customer service. We have a different approach. From very early in my childhood, I loved to paint, sketch, sew, and build. My business combines my experience and love of art, flowers, construction, and design. I have assembled a team of talented, inspired designers who share my vision and enthusiasm and contribute their ideas. We enjoy incorporating unexpected elements and textures into our arrangements and floral sculptures. We view each new event as an opportunity to flex our creative muscles.
