LARA New York was created by siblings, Jasmine Singh and Herman Pahwa. Their passion
for dresses was instilled into them from birth. Throughout childhood, Jasmine and Herman would drive into the garment district of NYC, and visit
their parent’s wholesale dress store near Times Square, so that they were not home alone.
As adolescents they soaked up knowledge about fashion and evening wear
that after both graduating college, they realized that
they couldn’t do anything else. In 2015, Jasmine and Herman launched Lara.com
with a vision to create fashion forward gowns that fit women of all shapes and
sizes.
As an inclusive brand we cater to a wide range of body shapes and sizes from 00 to 26 Many of
our plus sized gowns have become our best sellers! We've dedicated countless
hours to making sure our dresses fit perfect, so alterations are made easier if
you must do them at all!
